  BIOGRAPHY
The idea for Arkay began in December 2006, and by April of '07 the duo of Robb Knight (vocals) and Brent Watkins (guitar) were playing acoustic shows all around Northeast Louisiana. They maintained that for a year before evolving into a plugged-in four piece that has evolved into the Arkay of today.

Today, Robb is joined by Chris Bankston(drums) and brothers Josh and Hayden McConkey (bass and guitar respectively) to complete a lineup that has toured all around the Arklamiss and Texas the past couple of years and along the way has had the honor of opening up for bands such as 12 Stones, Pop Evil, Midnight To Twelve, and Black Water Rising.

Arkay released their debut album "The Cycle Begins" on January 26th, featuring lead single "What I Used To Be", which as of this writing had spent more than six consecutive weeks at #1 on Reverb Nation's rock charts for Louisiana. The band is planning on filming a video for it as well as follow-up single "Take It Personal".
